About us
The Governance of Change Club is a student-led organization at IE University dedicated to connecting the academic community with the work of the Center for the Governance of Change (CGC).
The club provides a platform for students to engage critically with the political, economic, and societal implications of technological transformation, while fostering dialogue and collaboration across disciplines.
Through a wide range of activities—including conferences, research, trips, and thematic workshops—the Club enables students to interact with leading experts, policymakers, and practitioners, gaining valuable insights into emerging global trends and governance challenges.
The Club’s mission is aligned with that of the Center for the Governance of Change (CGC), an applied-research and educational institution within IE University that produces pioneering, impact-oriented research on disruptive technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Big Data, and Robotics.
The CGC also delivers executive programs for public institutions and corporations, as well as outreach initiatives designed to enhance public awareness and empower society to navigate profound technological change.
Together, the Club and the CGC contribute to building an ecosystem of ideas, offering solutions and tools to govern disruption.
